I was trying to translate the below text, which was found at the front of a birthday book belonging to Catherine Roberts.

Many thanks to Rhys Morris who identified the text as Proverbs, Chapter 31, Verse 27

"She looketh well to the ways of her household, and eateth not the bread of idleness." (King James)

I think the text was written by, or possibly for, Catherine (Katherine) Roberts, who appears in the 1901 census (RG13-Folio 724-Piece 16- Page 24). and is recorded as being born in Llanynas [Llanynys], Denbighshire.
